Camp NaNoWriMo, Chapter 20 of 30

Validated Word Count: 17,205

*throws confetti*

Am I or am I not crazy? I wrote 5,839 words today. It was a spur of the moment thing where I wanted to complete my writing so I just... went for it.

Satisfied? Yes, of course but there's another obstacle to face and that is to edit my work! *groans* I don't even know where to start with that mess. Most likely I'm leaving it aside for a bit and then work on it. After NaNoWriMo itself perhaps?

My word goal was only 15k so it was relatively easy to spew out the words without looking back since I know my plot has a lot of content and I know what I want my story to be. The November writing though, that'll be a challenge cause I know what to write but I have absolutely NO IDEA on how to plan, where to start. I'll need to slowly sort my thoughts out on it else I'll just break down mid-month, while writing.

For the month itself, I have completely forgotten on the entire process since it went by uber fast and I had a really busy month with Ramadan and Eid itself. I am amazed to be honest that I managed to keep a clear head while writing with like so many responsibilities to see to.

On writing: I have really bad writing habits. I write very inconsistently. For example, I could be writing, let's say, 300 words today and tomorrow, I'll not write at all. For the next couple of days, I open Scrivener, stare at my cork boards and just shut the screen cause nothing is coming into my head. In a week, on a certain day, I could write for 10 hours straight (especially during the holidays) and hit 6k words. There's no fixed writing with me cause I'm a loser. Hah.

Enough about that. How are your camp sessions? How far are you gone? Do tell me cause I'm interested to know. :) And if you're not done, I wish you all the best! *bro fists*
